PartMaster RS232 - DNC Communications

PartMaster DNC is a software module that allows you to send and receive programs from your PC to your CNC machine tools via the machine's RS232 serial port. The software is included with all PartMaster modules: Mill, Turn and Wire EDM. The system is versatile and easily configurable for all machines with a RS232 interface. If your PC doesn't have a standard 9 pin serial port, then a USB to Serial converter is required. Dolphin Cadcam can supply these converters that have been tested and work on Windows XP, Vista and 7. Communications protocol can be set to :- Handshake - None, Xon/Xoff, Hardware Parity - None, Even, Odd Data Bits 7 or 8. Stop bits 0, 1 or 2 Output flow control CTS or DSR Monitor DSR - Enable or Disable. Special characters can be sent to establish the start and end of data transmission such as STX, EOT and ETX etc.
