Involute Gear

PartMaster Involute Gear Design is a stand alone application that creates Spur and Rack gears. The output is to the PartMaster CAD system or to a DXF file.

Once in the CAD system the gear form can be made part of complete gear wheel or can be edited and modified.

If your requiement is to produce just the gear teeth then the system will automatically produce the required Contours that can be transferred directly into the Milling or Wire EDM modules where the machining program (GCode) file is produced.

The system is capable of producing gears in Metric or Imperial units.

The tooth form can be modifed by the following parameters:-

Dimension over pins

Dimension over a number of teeth

Known tooth thickness

Modify Addendum

Modify Dedendum

Root fillet

Tip fillet

Tip relief

Involute curve tolerance
